12 days of lagoon wishes

This is Paul Janensch with a Treasure Coast Essay about a good way to celebrate the 12 days of Christmas.  Each day from December 25 to January 5, Treasure Coast Newspapers told readers about an Indian River Lagoon project requiring financial support   On the 12th day of Christmas, the Friends of the Spoil Islands said it is seeking donations to buy two all-terrain wheelchairs so the disabled can visit the islands.  On the first day of Christmas, the Ocean Research & Conservation Association said it wants to acquire a gizmo to trace the sources of pollutants.  Other organizations with lagoon wishes include the Environmental Learning Center and the Manatee Observation and Learning Center.  It’s not too late to give.  For information, go to the newspapers’ website, TCPalm.com.  I’m Paul Janensch.
