Attracting foreign tourists

This is Paul Janensch with a Treasure Coast Essay about attracting foreign tourists to our wonderful stretch of Florida.  Indian River and St. Lucie Counties recently hosted foreign travel writers.  Why not add Martin County and invite foreign travel writers to sample the attractions in all three counties?  They will encourage people in their countries to come here.  What do we offer?  State parks: Sebastian Inlet, Fort Pierce Inlet and Jonathan Dickinson.  Museums: McLarty, Navy Seals and Elliott.  Places connected to nature: Environmental Learning Center. McKee Botanical Garden, Harbor Branch, Oceanographic Coastal Center.  Take them to a beach.  Take them kayaking.  Take them fishing.  Take them on a cruise to see manatees and dolphins.  Orlando is fun.  The Treasure Coast is better.  No long lines.  I’m Paul Janensch.
