A Christmas card

This is Paul Janensch with a Treasure Coast Essay that wishes a Merry Christmas to people I talked about this year.  Such as: Gloria and Emilio Estefan, who received The Presidential Medal of Freedom and celebrated the opening of a Broadway musical based on their lives.  Bryan Stork, who played center for the New England Patriots when they won the Super Bowl.  The Indian River State College swim teams.  National champs again.  Jen Welter, the first woman to serve on an NFL coaching staff.  Top tennis pro Mardy Fish, who retired.  Country singer Jake Owen, who returned to perform two benefit performances.  President Obama, who spent a weekend at the Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City.  And don’t let me forget the ghost of developer Waldo Sexton, who haunts the Driftwood Resort.  I’m Paul Janensch.
