Please join WQCS in welcoming Bryan Lane, as the new WQCS station manager at the WQCS Open House on Saturday, November 21 from 10am – 2pm. You will have the opportunity to tour the station, meet Bryan Lane, Drew Mello, Jill Roberts and the rest of the WQCS staff. The first 50 guests will receive a gift and light refreshments will be served.
Bryan Lane has had a career in broadcasting at more than 15 radio stations in northern New York State, at WGYL-FM in Vero Beach and his most recent position at the University of New Haven radio station, WNHU-FM in Connecticut. At the University of New Haven, Bryan taught broadcasting in radio, television, film production, media management and mass media criticism. Bryan also coordinated a student broadcasting station for more than six years at the university.
Bryan has a Bachelor of Arts from Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA, and a Master’s of Science in Education from St. Joseph’s College in Standish, Maine.
At WQCS, Bryan hopes to expand the station into the community to develop more station and community connections.
