Safe driving in Port St. Lucie

This is Paul Janensch with a Treasure Coast Essay about safe drivers in Port St. Lucie.  It ranks among the top 10 cities for safe driving.  The 2017 Allstate America's Best Drivers Report looks at claims filed in the country’s 200 largest cities.  It shows that Port St. Lucie drivers are 17 percent less likely to be in a crash.  That's the eighth-best average in the U.S. and second-best in Florida, behind only Cape Coral, whose drivers are 18 percent less likely to be in a crash. Drivers in top-ranked Kansas City, Kansas, are 33 percent less likely to be in a crash.  The worst is Boston.  Drivers there are 180 percent more likely to be in a crash.  So, Port St. Lucie drivers, take a bow.  But first stop and get out of the vehicle.  I’m Paul Janensch.
