Treasure Coast – Thursday 1/28 was the 50th anniversary of the death of Zora Neale Hurston. The author died in Ft. Pierce in 1960. By that time she was penniless and alone. But during her life, her anthropology work took her to Haiti. Hurston scholar Deborah Plant tells us about her time there.
