Wednesday June 27 is National HIV testing day.

Free testing will be available at the Martin County Health Dept. on Willoughby Blvd. in Stuart from 9 a.m. till 3:00 p.m..  Find our more here.  Testing in Indian River County will be offered at the Schumann Center of the IRSC campus in Vero Beach from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m..  Click here for more information.  In St. Lucie County testing will be done during a block party at Dreamland park in Ft. Pierce from noon till 7 p.m.

Amateur Radio Field Day weekend

Local amateur radio clubs along the Treasure Coast  will come together to present an Emergency Preparedness Expo and Training Exercise on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24 in conjunction with the annual American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Field Day.  The American Radio Relay League Field Day event  is focused on setting up temporary portable stations, running on emergency power, stay-at-home and mobile units are allowed to participate.  The Public is also invited and encouraged to come out and see what amateur radio is all about.
