This is Paul Janensch with a Treasure Coast Essay about the Stuart Boat Show. It’s less than two weeks away. It started in the mid-70s and is now the largest boat show on the Treasure Coast. Hundreds of boats, in-water and on the land. Ocean-going yachts, cruisers, center consoles, speedboats, fishing boats, pontoon boats – ranging in size from 12 feet to 80 feet. Plus personal watercraft, marine electronics, outboard motors, inboard engines, safety equipment, boat lifts, fishing gear, music, food and drinks. When: January 13, 14 and 15. Where: Northwest Dixie Highway on the St. Lucie River near the Roosevelt Bridge. I can only afford a 12-footer. But you will find me looking at an 80-footer and dreaming about cruising to the Bahamas. I’m Paul Janensch.
