Tighter security for Mets

This is Paul Janensch with a Treasure Coast Essay about tighter security at Tradition Field this spring for New York Mets workouts and games.  Jon Santucci reports on TCPalm.com that to enter we will have to walk through metal detectors.  Just like at the airport.  Empty our pockets of coins and keys and cell phones.  Re-entry will not be permitted.  No folding chairs or stools.  No loud noise-makers.  No strollers that cannot be put under seats.  No full-size bats.  No drones or selfie sticks.  No bottles or cans.  Major League Baseball has ordered all spring training camps to adopt security measures in place at major-league ball parks.  Mets management says it wants to provide a safe and comfortable environment.  My advice is to arrive early.  Just like at the airport.  I’m Paul Janensch.
